Casa da Taipa - Villa I

Upon arrival, Casa da Taipa is the first manifesto for construction in raw earth, a connecting thread between the memory of the past and the new life of the valley. The slow rhythm of the solid schist steps leads, as you climb around the house, to the bright courtyard where you can access the interior of the villas.
Two identical Villas, with high wooden ceilings and where the sunlight is diffused by the immaculate white of the lime on the walls.
Organized on three distinct levels, the spaces of the villas are interconnected in a fluid and functional dynamic.
At the entrance, the dining area is located in a double-height area that gives it a unique character. On the lower level, the living area is organized around the fireplace and is framed by the inviting outdoor terrace with unique views over the valley .
On the mezzanine, which is more private, the bedroom area is serene and comfortable , with an integrated bathroom, where the large bathtub encourages a slower, more relaxing routine .
